Affiliate marketing is by far the easiest online business you could start in 2020. In this article, I will uncover several reasons you should start an affiliate marketing biz.

By far, my favorite aspect of affiliate marketing is the fact you don’t have to create your own products or handle customer support. Do you realize how much time goes into handling product creation and customer support?

The typical product launch can take 100+ hours of work. Once you get the products created, customer support can be another challenge. Of course, you could outsource support, but that costs even more money.

With marketing affiliate products online, you don’t have to worry about any of those things. This will free up a ton of time and stress.

Affiliate Marketing Is Scalable

Not having to outsource customer support and product creation will allow you to spend that money in other areas. For example, you’ll be able to start testing out different paid traffic generation avenues to get affiliate sales.

The Best Affiliate Networks

In my opinion, the best affiliate networks are ClickBank, Amazon, and WarriorPlus. ClickBank is a digital marketing platform where you can promote affiliate products.

Amazon is where you can promote pretty much any type of product you want. They have digital products and physical products. Amazon doesn’t pay as much per sale as ClickBank though.

If you are looking to promote products in the information marketing space, WarriorPlus is another option. They specialize in information related to internet marketing and making money online.

High Commission Percentage Per Sale

You can earn between 50-100% per sale with affiliate marketing. Since you don’t have to handle product creation, this is very attractive.

For the 100% commission products, you’ll get the sale but the product creator will get the buyer lead information. This will allow them to market other products to these paying customers while you collect the commissions upfront.

Pick Your Niche to Promote Affiliate Offers

First, you’ll want to pick a niche. The topic in which you decide to promote affiliate offers should have enough buyers in the market to make it worth your time.

These topics can include: Making money online, how to build muscle, how to lose weight, how to trade forex, how to train your dog, etc.

With Amazon, you’ll just need to promote products that are already selling. There are plenty of online tools to check Amazon sales.

Setting Up Your Automatic Selling System

The point of an automatic selling system is to do the “Selling and Telling” for you. So you don’t have to literally hold someone’s hand to get them to buy your affiliate product. You can use a software product called BuilderAll to host your sales funnels.

They are by far the best I’ve seen. They even have an amazing Facebook community where you can learn even more affiliate marketing skillsets.

The automatic selling system will consist of a lead magnet and a bridge page. The lead magnet is what gets someone to give their email address in exchange for a free gift or download. The bridge page is to warm them up to the affiliate offer you are promoting.

An example of a good lead magnet could be “How to Create a Full-time Income Online Using Solo Ads.” Or “How to Stop Your Cat from Destroying Your Furniture.”

The bridge page can be a review video of the affiliate product. You can ask the product owner for JV access so you can create your review video. It doesn’t have to be a video though.

You can create a review page where you go over the product and then provide your affiliate link to your visitors.

The Email Marketing Follow-up System

Once you have your selling system up, you’ll also want to make sure you have some email marketing emails in place as well. You can use Aweber, GetResponse, or MailingBoss to host your leads.

I suggest MailingBoss as it is included for free with Builderall. You can create a 30-day follow-up email marketing campaign to get your leads to purchase the affiliate products.

Make sure your emails are not too lengthy. Stick to 100-250 words per email. Include images of the products or testimonials from customers who have purchased the product.
